HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR MINI SESSION
A little preparation goes a long way in creating beautiful photos. Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your session:
Coordinate Your Outfits
Choose outfits that complement one another rather than match exactly. Soft neutrals, earth tones, rich jewel colors, and warm fall hues photograph beautifully. Layers, textures, and accessories like hats, scarves, or boots can add depth and interest. Avoid clothing with large logos, busy patterns, or neon colors that can distract from your family's connection.
Arrive Early
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled session time. Mini sessions are booked back-to-back, so arriving early ensures you receive your full session without feeling rushed.
Prepare Little Ones
Make sure children are well-rested and have had a snack before arriving. Bringing a favorite small toy or comfort item can also help if they need a quick break. Try to avoid promising rewards for smiling—instead, let them know you're going to have fun spending time together.
Keep It Simple
Leave phones, keys, bulky bags, and water bottles in the car whenever possible. Bringing only the essentials helps keep your photos clean and allows everyone to focus on each other.
Relax and Have Fun
The best photos happen when you're simply enjoying your family. Don't worry about getting everyone to look at the camera the entire time. I'll guide you through natural poses and fun prompts that encourage genuine laughter, hugs, and connection.
Embrace the Weather
Fall weather can be unpredictable. Dress comfortably for the temperature and bring a light jacket or blanket if needed between photos. A little breeze or a few falling leaves often adds to the magic of your images!
After Your Session
Your gallery will be professionally edited and delivered within 7 days. From there, you'll be able to download your images, share them with family and friends, and order beautiful prints and products to enjoy for years to come.

DETAILS & INFORMATION
•15 Minute Session
•Total cost is $215 - $50 booking retainer, then $165 due at the session
•Your choice of 5 edited images are included with the session. You may purchase additional images for $15 each or the entire gallery for a discounted rate.
•Rights to printing and sharing the chosen images.
•Online gallery including high resolution edits delivered within 7 days after proofs are chosen.
•Ability to easily customize and order prints, wall art, & holiday cards straight from your galleryto be delivered to your door step!
DETAILS:
Backup dates are just in case bad weather requires us to reschedule. A final decision will be made within 48 hours of the session start time. An associate photographer will be hired to capture the reschedule date if weather does not allow us to use the original date.
•For 10/02 the backup date will be 10/05
•For 10/03 the backup date will be 10/06
These are the only backup dates, so please keep them available. Please note that no refunds or additional session dates will be issued if you can not make the backup date.
REQUIRED BACKUP DATES:
•This is a busy time and minis are back-to-back, so please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of your session in order to keep everything running smoothly. If you are late, no additional time will be added to your session and a late fee may be charged.
•Please make sure you’re available for both the time you originally book, and the same time on the backup date. I can not guarantee a rescheduled session, even in case of emergencies.
•Sessions are first come, first serve and will not be reserved until the $50 booking retainer has been paid. If there is no payment within 24 hours after booking, your time may be opened again for public booking.
